An exciting position has come available to join the award winning Kalus Kenny Intelex Property team.
As an experienced Property Law Clerk you will be required to manage our Developer clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and manage subdivisions, high volume developments including vacant lots, townhouses, high-rise apartments
- Possess a solid understanding of on-sales, nominations and off-the plan transactions
- Drafting correspondence, special conditions, contracts and Section 32’s
Preparing trust account requisitions - Have the knowledge to arrange settlements via PEXA and paper (where required)
- Prepare State Revenue Office documents and understand current stamp duty exemptions/concessions available
- Create, manage and maintain sales summary reports for clients (using Excel)
- Liaise with clients and other parties such as real estate agents, brokers, banks and developers in a professional and polite manner ensuring the firm’s brand is promoted in a positive way
- Maintain client relationships specifically for our large clients
- Be extremely well organised and keep track of critical dates, scheduling appointments and settlements, ensuring that follow up systems are in place
- Accurate and consistent time recording with the ability to meet budgets whilst providing a high level of service to clients Prepare bills (including management of invoices being sent to clients)
Competencies/Attributes
- Must have held a role as a Conveyancing or Property clerk for a minimum of 5 years within a busy property practice (with development experience as a necessity)
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Ability to manage a team during settlement periods
- Personable, able to deal with clients as well as the clients extended project teams
- Must be enthusiastic, energetic, have excellent communication skills and enjoy providing high quality service in various Property matters
- Be someone who thrives on challenge in a fast-paced environment
