Lisa’s pragmatic and compassionate nature makes her an integral part of the Estate Planning and Wealth Protection team. She takes pride in providing thorough and commercial advice by getting to know her client’s family structure and assets.

Working predominantly for high-net wealth families, Lisa enjoys keeping updated on a multitude of complex issues, including capital gains tax, land transfer duty, foreign investment legislation, trustee duties and the intersection between trusts and family law. Lisa has a particular interest in claims for further provision from deceased estates and is well-versed in the variety of sub-issues in this area, including moral obligations towards step-children, claims by de-facto partners, competing claims in blended families, quantum of provision in high-net wealth estates and estrangement of claimants.

Having strong expertise in estate litigation, Lisa is able to advise her clients of common issues, helping her clients avoid unwanted and lengthy litigation.

With a breadth of experience in complex deceased estate and trust matters, Lisa is uniquely placed to assist her clients with tailored estate planning and estate litigation strategies.

Lisa is currently undertaking her Master of Laws (Applied Law) in Wills & Estates.
