Heather Richardson is a highly experienced, commercially focused lawyer who practices in dispute resolution and commercial litigation and leads our employment law practice.

Heather strives to achieve the best outcome for her clients, who include medium to large enterprises and high-net-worth individuals.

A long-term member of the Kalus Kenny Intelex team, Heather’s vast experience sees her practicing in many areas of dispute resolution, commercial litigation and administrative law, with a particular focus on employment law and complex commercial litigation. Heather’s focus is to seek to address the issues as early as possible through alternative dispute resolution.

Heather acts in Commonwealth and State jurisdictions including in the Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of Victoria, Court of Appeal, VCAT, as well as the Fair Work Commission, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

Heather has also represented clients in specialist tribunals and commission hearings including:
• representing clients in seeking approval for surrogacy arrangements before the Patient Review Panel;
• acting in a matter before the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) Professional Conduct Committee and Executive.

Heather’s practice includes seeking early injunctive relief, including search orders.

Heather’s practice has a strong focus on employment law, director and shareholder disputes, shareholder oppression, contract disputes and intellectual property matters.
